That is very nice...thank you!

I do believe that there were many (Jews) that observed God, as we know him, in The Old Testament. However, Jesus dying on the cross; as painful as it must have been, paved a way to forgiveness, and ultimately to Heaven.

Prior to Jesus being crucified, it was through the slaughtering of innocent (blood sacrifices) animals that was the only way to atone for your sins.

Through the death and resurrection of Jesus, we now have a way to forgiveness, and a pathway to Heaven; he was the final innocent (blood) sacrifice.

Through Jesus, we now have a love far greater then any love that we can ever conceive, while here on Earth...unconditional, and unwaivering.
