This is Led Zeppelin live, in 1979… “Changes fill my time, baby that’s alright with me; though the course may change sometimes, rivers always reach the sea.” Enjoy!

It is a very beautiful song, both lyrically and musically!
I have always loved Jimmy’s solo, in this song.
It is interesting to hear it live, without the extra overdubbed guitar tracks, as in the studio version.
Very cool how JPJ is playing the 12 string acoustic to compensate.
Very beautiful!

I was amazed at JPJ! My fave part is the intro.. I’m totally taken and instantly mesmorized by JP .. That melody is so beautiful.. So soft but yet powerful.. *sigh* I love it :)
Ranks right up there in my Top 10….
And yes, the lyrics are truly poetic…
“Did you ever want somebody.. The best love you ever had”
Tres bonne, Tres bonne is right!!!

Hi there LdyBelle!
How about that triple neck guitar that JPJ is using? That is so cool! I think that it is a 12 string and 6 string guitar, then a mandolin, at the top; truly fascinating!
JP has truly wrote some guitar masterpieces..
I feel so privileged to have been inspired to play, through him; in an offhand way, he was my guitar teacher.
Robert Plant..
One of the best lyricists, ever, in my opinion; his influence is certainly all over my words.
“But as the eagle leaves the nest, it’s got so far to go”
