Note:
Although the above words have been cited many times, over the years – including by Ronald Reagan, in this 1961 speech on Socalized healthcare, there doesn’t appear to be absolute evidence that Thomas actually spoke or wrote these words.

  1. Never before, has the old saying, "a picture is worth a thousand words," been more clear.

  2. Here is Norman Thomas, in his own voice, accepting The Sixth Nomination for U.S. President, by The Socialist Party.

  3. In Ronald Reagan's 1961 speech on Socialized healthcare, please take note of whose name he starts the speech with.

  4. He's been on my radar for a very long time… but I just learned who's grandfather he is…

  5. With the knowledge we now have in regards to these foreign doctrines having infiltrated The Democrat Party, I would suggest that we stop using the word Liberal as a way to describe Democrats, or any groups on the left! Not doing so, is to continue giving cover to those who truly are Socialists etc.

The word Liberal, if not forever ruined, should be restored to its once classical meaning.

Of course, the classical definition of Liberalism, seems to have been replaced by modern day Libertarians. I would argue, not all people who call themselves Liberals, would necessarily (or knowingly) support Socialist policies; however, we know for a fact, most people who are Socialists in our country, rarely, if ever, will openly admit it. Therefore, we must make them reveal who they really are, so we know precisely who it is we are trying to remove from our government!

  6. This is not the first guy who promoted socialism in America. It’s an experiment that was tried and failed.

  7. Thanks Mike!

I think I have read about The Llano del Rio Cooperative Colony in the past. I think the major difference between then and now is, we apparently have Socialists in the highest levels of our government; who can, and are, doing great financial damage to our nation!

At the very beginning of Ronald Reagan's (above) 1961 speech, he mentions Norman Thomas by name. I still think it is very telling that Thomas, through his own words, admits that they have infiltrated The Democrat Party. I just wish that most Democrats realized this.

  8. Interestingly, our pilgrim ancestors started with a Communal system. After they nearly starved to death, they switched to a private ownership model, then began to prosper.
