This is Nancy Pelosi, on May 14th, 2009, discussing The CIA, methods used against suspected terrorists, and the information that she claims was never shared with her.

I was watching this press conference live on TV, and was shocked when The Speaker of The House (third in line for The Presidency of The United States), essentially called our intelligence community liars.

I immediately realized that this was going to be a political firestorm…

WOW! Newt Gingrich said that she is unworthy to be Speaker of The House. It is just so hard to believe that this lady is actually third in line to be President of The United States.

You know,  Nancy Pelosi, is still a Congresswoman of California, and California is falling off the cliff economically. All I am saying is that, perhaps she should re-organize her priorities, and let The CIA do the job of protecting this country.

I am not suggesting that any branch, or government institution should have unlimited power, but I am saying that she should stop making our national security a public spectacle, and have these meetings behind the scenes.

I think that our leaders need to be forward thinking, and let’s set up policies that will advance and protect our (learning from the past) futures, instead of incessantly trying to change the past.

  4. Here is Newt Gingrich (former Speaker of The House), on why Nancy Pelosi should step down.

I must say, I do agree with him…This is about “our” (all Americans), national security.

As I said, in the above comment, there is a right way to handle these matters and a wrong way; when it becomes apparent that you are jeopardizing our national security to win political favor, then in my opinion, you are not fit for office; especially as third in line to be president.

Well, there is some breaking news tonight…
North Korea “successfully” tested a nuclear weapon.

I hope that The Speaker of The House will “now” wise the hell up and get back to governing, and let The CIA do what is necessary to keep this country safe.
