“deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed”I have felt for a long time that our rights stop, the day after Election Day. It is a great thing that we the people are able to vote our officials into office, however this does make one wonder “if” the people should maintain a larger degree of power, even after the officials are in office. I can see the final sentence, in the above paragraph…
